RockSea
Eco simplicity on a wild, rocky beach—where sea, stars, and Sinai meet.
The Story
Tucked along a quiet, coral-strewn stretch of Nuweiba’s coastline, RockSea Camp is a family-run eco-lodge with deep roots. It was named after the owners’ daughter, Roxy, who grew up barefoot and free among the waves and stones. She even went to school with the daughter of the Bassata founders—a reminder of how tightly woven this community is.
Built into the landscape, RockSea has always been a place for people seeking a simpler rhythm—free from noise, tech, and distraction. Here, nature leads.
Why It’s Ecological
- Fully Solar-Powered: RockSea runs 100% on solar, carefully conserving energy and embracing off-grid living.
- Natural Building: Bamboo huts, clay rooms, and wooden bungalows are built from local, low-impact materials.
- Minimal Waste: No plastic, no AC, no frills—just mindful presence and daily connection to the environment.
- Respect for Place: The coral beach is left untouched. The camp blends into the landscape instead of shaping it.
